Rohan Mehra On Learning Dance For Crashh And Being Compared To Ranveer Singh From Gully Boy
Rohan Mehra plays a driver with dreams of becoming a hip hop dancer in Crashh- Zee5 and AltBalaji's latest series. He speaks about preparing for the role and how it is like Ranveer Singh from Gully Boy
Actor Rohan Mehra, who is known for his shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Class Of 2020, is being seen in series Crashh. Rohan in the series is playing the character of Rahim who finds himself in a financially struggling family post his adoption. All the setbacks never made Rahim lose sight of his dreams. A driver with a strong passion for dance is often compared to Ranveer Singh’s “Gully Boy”, as he constantly wishes he was born in a well-to-do family.

When spoken to Rohan about his preparation for the hip hop dance form, he shared, “I think when you love something, you will go to extremes to perfect it. To play Rahim, an aspiring dancer, I felt like I needed to step up my dance game to make it look as effortless as possible. In truth, dancing isn’t as easy as people make it out to be. The character, Rahim makes you feel like you are watching a dance version of Gully Boy. Taking dance lessons for 2 months before shooting for the series feels like the best decision I ever made. The story of Crashh revolves around four siblings whose lives changed when they were in a car crash and lost their parents. They were taken into an orphanage and later split when they were adopted. The oldest sibling later makes it his mission to reunite his long-lost family, facing a lot of obstacles in the process, making the series a very touching one.The ensemble star cast includes Zain Imam, Aditi Sharma, Anushka Sen, and Kunj Anand in pivotal roles. The series is produced by Shobha Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor and directed by Kushal Zaveri.
